Sledge Hockey

Sledge hockey is a Paralympic sport played at an international level around the world where people with physical disabilities are able to play hockey using adapted equipment.

The Calgary Scorpions Sledge Hockey club, the SBHASA-sponsored sledge hockey team, plays from 6:15 to 8:15 p.m. Saturday nights at the Stew Hendry Arena in Calgary (814 - 13 Avenue NE). Members are welcome to attend and participate.

Contact our office for more information on how to get involved.

Wheelchair curling

Wheelchair curling is available for adults looking for a winter activity - no experience necessary!

The league generally plays on Saturday afternoons in Calgary. Please email Ernie if you are interested in participating.

Spina Bifida & Hydrocephalus Awareness Month

June is SB&H Awareness month across Canada. The SBHASA will be promoting information on spina bifida and hydrocephalus, SBHASA programs, as well as brochures on the importance of folic acid.
